It depends on people, but it is a feeling like a restaurant in the port city a long time ago. Personally, I did not think that it was so dirty.
It is one of the few ramen shops near the morning market. We recommend you come here if you get bored. The picture is soy sauce ramen. It tastes good.
Paid 1200 yen for a bowl of ramen with crabs, sea urchin, squid, scallop and prawn. Will say more than worth it
If shio ramen is your thing than you can have a very much average experience having it here. The one in my picture is the one with sea food in it, the fresh crab and everything added making it pretty tasty. I would recommend you, if you want to eat here, to have that one.My low rating is not because of the mediocre ramen (mediocre compared to everything I've had elsewhere in Japan). It's because I have never before had issues in this country with the hygene of places to eat, even the street food ones. But here it's an issue. Also...I spotted one cockroach on the floor, one on the counter next to me. No thanks, not admissible. Conclusion : avoid this placePS: the noodles are different in this area than in other parts of Japan. It's an interesting fact, though it doesn't help. I prefer thicker for my taste. .
Delicious and super affordable‼️However don’t expect it to be a high end shop, there are indeed cockroaches on the wall. It is totally ok for us!
Hakodate morning market people heard delicious ramen noodles and ordered salt ramen noodles with this ramen noodles. It is a taste that is asari, but it is good to be addicted. It is very delicious because the noodles are entwined with the soup, and the noodles are so smooth. It seems that Mr. Teru of GLAY is coming well.It is narrow but there is only a counter seat but it is recommended. It is right in front of Hakodate morning market.
Wow wow wow. Don't miss it if you're here. It's crab, uni, squid and scallops in a bowl!
Funky tiny place with awesome delicious crab shrimp squid scallop ramen. Miso style broth is perfect.
Hidden gem just opposite the markets. Must try the ramen with crab fried rice and the seafood miso ramen. Great value for what you pay for! Potions are HUGE.
Hole in the wall quick ramen shop. The guy was nice and patient. I had the miso broth, it was served piping hot. Very good.
I found a bug in my broth after having half of that. Not recommended. The guy seemed like did not care.
The place is simple and unassuming but it offers delicious bowls of ramen. I got the seafood ramen which has generous portions of local crab, shrimp, squid, scallop and uni. It was steaming hot and flavorful. It was a one man show. The man took the order, cooked the food right in front of us, served it, washed the dishes and received the payment. All done with a smile.
A one-man operation in a small shabby shop that can seat only about 8 pax counter-style. Limited menu. Owner is also his own Deliveroo (in case you enter & there is no one there). Not impressed with the ramen but good value for money. Fried rice is a must-try.
Highly recommend this traditional seafood ramen in Hakodate . Broth was delicious and can taste the seafood elements. This shop is just less than 5 mins walk from JR Hakodate station.
Love the seafood soup. A cosy store with little seats, so may be necessary to wait a while. The boss one person handles end to end, quite impressive. Soup with lots of crab and seafood.
I ate a fried rice set. While making fried rice with snow crab, it's a dynamic dish (^ o ^) that is made by fold the randomly placed crab legs and pulls them out to fried rice. Ramen comes in a large bowl and is new to locals? Fried noodles even though they are salt ramen. It was delicious as usual. It's a little seasoned, so be careful! Is it an old shop? Some insects were running on the wall of the kitchen. I will not say the name of the insect.
Best ramen in Hakodate!! Go for thier specialty Hakodate Ramen! Oisshi !!!
It is a ramen shop where Teru of GLAY, which is located near Hakodate Station, used to go well. I ordered squid salt ramen. They will cook and cook squid in front of you. The delicious flavor and salt ramen of squid are exquisite and delicious! When I asked the store manager, it seems that TERU has been coming around 11 times this year (for recording at Hakodate). There are other menus such as sea urchin and scallop, so it is recommended because it is near the station!
Kani ramen in a miso broth was very good. The broth is very light and not heavily oiled, which is nice to make the dish less filling.
Just by looking from outside you can tell it has its history. Once you step inside, you can definitely feel like the time has went back like 20 years! The ramen was great! Very old fashion taste! If you still have room for your stomach after eating all kinds of seafood, I’d say step in here and get a salt flavor ramen!
Costing 1300 only, the ramen here was a steal. It contains fish urchin, crab as well as prawn. The miso base was well cooked and totally didn’t disappoint.
Unassuming store that you will probably walked past and see twice. Ordered the seafood and shoyu ramen. Felt that the seafood one was value for money with prawn, crab and sea urchin all available in a single bowl. Worth a visit if you're looking for a good ramen in the region!
A kind of soup with less fat. I ordered a crab-riding Kamome ramen as a tourist feeling, but it was delicious. There are many Chinese tourists from places. The shopkeeper guides me gently, though there are 10 people in the small shop.
OMO, so expect long queue. seafood ramen is certainly worth trying but not the chashu which is ordinary and overly salty.
The area is small which can only accommodate 7-8 pax inside the shop. The menu is attached and we went for the signature ramen which features multiple types of seafood, as well as a gigantic crab leg. The portion was generous, the noodle texture was just nice, and the soup was really nice. We did not regret coming to this shop and we highly recommend it.
I ate salted scallop ramen.Easy to eat in easily, the amount is also satisfied.Only the store counter.
Lovely ramen. Lovely crab fried rice that is only served with a bowl of ramen. Cheap considering the location of the shop. A Must Try.
Awesome Kamome Ramen definitely recommend! The amount of fresh fish in this meal was amazing and the portions were generous as well! The chef was very friendly and he was quick to serve and made everything from scratch! The ingredients made the meal worth the money.Totally worth the visit if you're in the area and are craving some ramen especially in the cold!
It is a good choice. Wanted to try all the great fresh seafood that Hakodate is famous for. I ordered the 1200 JPY ramen. Crab, sea urchin, scallop, prawn and squid in a miso ramen broth. Was my second time there ( first time I had a usual shio-ramen, which was ok). The vocalist of GLAY usually goes to eat in this place, hence it’s always crowded. Negative points: the owner can be kinda rude and grumpy. He yelled at a kid that was crying and refused to handle me extra wet tissues.
This is a simple shop run by one person who does this very well. I had the ramen set, and while the ramen was good, the fried rice was outstanding! There are only 10 seats and the line goes out the door, so there might be a wait. Also, the hours might vary because sometimes the owner decides to close up early.
Simply amazing!!!! Get the ramen with seafood (crab squid and a bunch of others). I marked it as my favorite so I can come back here again when I am in Hakodate.
Great price for great fresh seafood ramen, definately worth it!!
We ate here for early lunch and truly enjoyed our bowl of Hotate Ramen & Seafood Ramen. Satisfying and large portions. I took my time to eat the crab legs and claws. So good!
Nice. The pork in shio ramen worth 5 star. But the noodle and soup lose to daimon yokocho. Golden shio. Shop pretty old and dirty. But is ok.
I am no ramen expert but this was the best ramen I've ever had. The thick soup (almost sauce like) was amazing. I hope I get a chance to go back again.
Yummy!
Must try their sea urchin Ramen.
This restaurant is run by one man who does the cooking and takes orders. The recommended noodles are the Kamome ramen with crab and squid in it. This ramen uses a miso base and costs 1200 yen. I also ordered a regular miso ramen with pork for 700 yen. Salt and soy sauce flavor ramen will cost 600 yen here. The restaurant is quite small but easy to find in the fish market neighbourhood. It opens quite early, so I didn't have to wait in line when I went around 7am.
So good!
Absolutely delicious and value for money. A delicious bowl of ramen with crab legs, scallops, uni and squid costing only 1200 yen. Limited seats but queue aren't long in the morning. The boss is a one man show that settled everything himself.
We ordered the seafood ramen, and it was so delicious! Generous amount of seafood, scallop, prawn, crab, uni, squid and the best miso based soup! And it's only 1200 yen! Don't forget to try out the fried rice! Must not missed it! Its only 400 yen!!
Delicious ramen
Wonderful wonderful seafood ramen with superbly rich broth. It is generously laden with seafood - crab, uni, scallop, prawns. Priced at a nifty ¥1,150, it is definitely a steal and I highly recommend this on a cold day for ultimate comfort
Small cozy eatery opposite the Hakodate morning market. Absolutely value for money! Had the 1200 Yen ramen with seafood - crab leg, scallop, prawn, uni. Awesome!
Morning ra. It has a lot of volume, and I felt the salt was light. There is a local hero next to Teka. I like the drop of time
This is the most delicious ramen I have ever had!
Only average compared the Noboribetsu Ramen. Be prepared to be sweating of you are eating here. Poor ventilation and only one small fan.
Tasty ramen with all kind of seafood... really bang for the buck
Tasty 1200yen seafood ramen and fried rice.
An excellent ramen to be enjoyed in the typical Japanese atmosphere. While out of cold you can eat a great hot ramen miso.In addition to the miso there are various fish or seafood ramen, counting that in the morning they make the fish market I do not doubt the minimum quality of the food.If I ever go back to Hakodate I will certainly pass by this restaurant.
Right opposite the Hakodate Morning Market. Owner work by himself, serving 10 people at the same time that take up all the seats in this small restaurant. Cheap price and great quality. For 1500 Yen, two long fresh crab legs and a big bowl of noodle. Best ramen noodle ever!
